Food Historian

Thanks to the exceptional staff at the Safety Harbor Public Library in Safety Harbor Florida, on August 9th, 2012, we enjoyed a wonderful evening complete with home made garlic ice cream, garlic brittle cookies, lemon hummus and a BIG crowd of garlic enthusiasts.

I dare say it was the best garlic talk yet. We set up a quiz station, a garlic curiosities station complete with magnifying glass, a history/timeline station, a book signing station, a display station that featured my garlic "altered book" along side garlic from Fox Run on display, and the snack bar, of course!

One of the summer season's most anticipated culinary events in Finger Lakes Wine Country was held at Fox Run Vineyards - it was their Annual Garlic Festival which took place at the winery over the weekend of August 4 & 5, 2012, 11-5.
